SEPTEMBER 23, 2009 | NEW SINGLE & VIDEO "HAPPY EVER AFTERLIFE" AVAILABLE

Violent Divine release the second single and video off their 2009 release "In Harm's Way" on September 22. The song "Happy Ever Afterlife" was chosen by the Violent Divine MySpace fans. The single also comes with a b-side, covering the Ratt classic "Lack of Communication". Both songs will be available as free downloads from http://www.myspace.com/violentdivine from September 23 until September 27. Once again the video was directed by Jonas Andersson of Harpunfilm. SEPTEMBER 8, 2009 | DIVINE FANS VOTED FOR HAPPY EVER AFTERLIFE

Violent Divine fans voted for Happy Ever Afterlife to be the second single and video from the 2009 release "In Harm's Way". Recording of the video will start asap, says Mike Divine, lead singer of Violent Divine, since we aim for a release already September 22, the same date we leave for Finland. Once again the video will be produced by Jonas Andersson from Harpunfilm. The single also contains Ratt song Lack of Communication, and will freely available to download from the Violent Divine MySpace site during the finnish tour Sept 22 to Sept 26.

AUGUST 30, 2009 | VIOLENT DIVINE TO TOUR FINLAND AGAIN IN SEPTEMBER

Violent Divine announce the next finnish tour containing 4 shows in Turku, Tampere and Helsinki together with British rockers New Generation Superstars. Tour starting September 23 with a show in Turku, September 24 at Semifinal/Tavastia Helsinki, September 25 at Dog's Home in Tampere and finishes off with a show at Helsinki's Darkside Club. We're definately going to rock and roll all night, party every day, says Gus Divine, drummer of Violent Divine. Hope to see all of our old and new friends there!

DECEMBER 1, 2008 | NEW ALBUM OUT JAN 31, 2009!

VIOLENT DIVINE will release their long awaited new album "In Harm's Way" (Misty Recordings) on January 31, 2009. The album is mixed and produced by Pontus Norgren, guitarist of Swedish metal act Hammerfall. It was a natural choice to work together with a highly acclaimed sound engineer and musician like Pontus Norgren, with his long experience of both live and studio and who's previously worked with bands like Europe and Yngwie Malmsteen.

VIOLENT DIVINE and Pontus Norgren share a lot of musical influences like Ozzy Osbourne, Motley Crue and Accept, just to mention a few. The new album "In Harm's Way" (Misty Recordings) is a massive hard rock album, mixing heavy metal, glam and classic hard rock, featuring 12 strong tracks in the true spirit of VIOLENT DIVINE .

The release of "In Harm's Way" (Misty Recordings) will be preceded by the single and video "Blackheart", released January 8 2009.

Violent Divine is currently busy in the studio recording two tracks for the forthcoming single in celebration of the upcoming anniversary of the debut album.

- We decided to re-record an energetic version of the album track "Levitate" the way the song is performed live, says Mike from Violent Divine. To make this recording even sweeter we decided to add a previously unreleased track: "Feels Like Home", which has proved to be a huge favourite with the fans at shows.
