VIOLENT DIVINE - formed in late 2005, unanimously praised for their 2006 debut album by critics and fans alike. VIOLENT DIVINE released their long awaited second album "In Harm's Way" (Misty Recordings) on January 31, 2009. The album is mixed and produced by Pontus Norgren, guitarist of Swedish metal act Hammerfall. It was a natural choice to work together with a highly acclaimed sound engineer and musician like Pontus Norgren, with his long experience of both live and studio and who's previously worked with bands like Europe and Yngwie Malmsteen.
VIOLENT DIVINE and Pontus Norgren share a lot of musical influences like Ozzy Osbourne, Motley Crue and Accept, just to mention a few. The new album "In Harm's Way" (Misty Recordings) is a massive hard rock album, mixing heavy metal, glam and classic hard rock, featuring 12 strong tracks in the true spirit of VIOLENT DIVINE .
VIOLENT DIVINE will release their third album RELEASE THE HOUNDS on Swedmetal Records on March 11. Swedmetal Records says: ”This will be one of 2010 best albums in this genre. Fantastic raw hard-driving melodic rock n roll - just the way it's meant to be!”
