Club Blacksmith is the club that changed its name from Club Undertaker just a few weeks before the show. Never mind the bollocks! This was a glorious night and we had the pleasure to share the stage with girl hard rockers Hysterica and the swedish glam giants Gemini 5.
After some sightseeing in the neighbourhood (we actually had dinner at a restaurant named Gravedigger. What's up with this town? All they can think of is about getting 6 ft under ground) it was time to enter the stage and greet the curious crowd with a nuclear explosion that spelled: Here & Now, Ashes To Ashes, The Thin Ice, Rush You, Levitate, The Morning Show, Feels Like Home, Let's Go, Apocalypse, Misery, Follow The Sun, Alive, in a successful mission to show what this rock and roll thingie is all about.
I'd say we managed to convert some of the lost souls this night. Those who didn't convert must follow the tracks of the Divine tour and decide whether to surrender or go down... anyway spending time with the crowd enjoying the brutal sound of Hysterica and the passion of Gemini 5 made this a party worth remembering.
On our way back home, after a light assault at McDonald's when Mr. Green told Mike to shut the f**k up and get back in the seat, Klaus decided he wanted to try the sensation of jumping out of the tour bus at high speed on the freeway. Mr. Green allowed him two attempts on that and as I recall he even had the kind heart to lower the speed a bit...
