It's quite odd how everything seems to happen at once and how one thing constantly leads to another. I was late - as usual - and with the bags in my hand on my way out through the door I get a call from a journalist... Anyway, as the non-instrumented lead singer in a rock band it is your priviledge to be late, specially when it comes to loading the equipment into the bus.

After an endless drive in pouring rain we met up with the production team for Slingshot Productions to shoot the interview for the biggest regional TV-station Kanal Lokal . This was one of these fun to make interviews where the entire band can participate which makes both questions and answers a bit more creative instead of media just wanting to focus on the vocalist all the time. We're a band goddammit.

Besides driving I guess waiting doing nothing for several hours is close to the bottom of my top 100 list of things I like to do... and we sure got our share of waiting since we were to headline the event at some 30 minutes past midnight. Was great to see this english/italian/portugese band 2 Kings perform though. Great lead singer with a great stage presence. Me like that. No use in doing something if you don't give 110% and that's exactly what this guy delivered.

Some 5 minutes late we entered the stage opening with a set of 3 brand new songs that might eventually make it to the next album, followed by Rush you, Levitate and The Morning Show. Even though the crowd reminded me of a boys night out... (don't you have riotgrrls in Gothenburg?) we dared trying out a new slow rock song (the word ballad don't exist in our vocabulary), but we compensated them by immediately rocking out with Let's Go which turned out to be a true sing-along event...

A few hours later Klaus and I shared the burden of driving the bus and the band all the long way back home, eating junkfood, listening to Ratt and Roll... closed the front door just in time for my morning coffee. Ah the glamorous life...
