I found the live performance a pro
» Stalker: ...they had gathered many more Finnish fans who stood in front of the stage and gave everything to support their band.
» Desibeli: Kolmessa vartissa nelikko saavutti puolittaisen työvoiton, mutta se todellinen läpimurto kuulijoiden kollektiiviseen sydämeen jäi silti saavuttamatta.

Judging from the high-pitched screams when the band entered stage, the Swedes have already gathered some followers in Finland, and this was probably the least "glam" act of the whole festival. Powerful Dirty Rock´n´Roll in the style of US Rock, with a singer that strongly reminded of a young Paul Di Anno, nevertheless was just right to kickstart the party. (KW) Stalker Magazine

Sleazerockers Violent Divine is currently releasing their self-titled debut album and is celebrating with a release party in Stockholm this thursday. The monday show in Norrköping could be seen as somewhat of a rehearsal for the event. Dispite a cloudy sky the area closest to the stage was packed when the quartet kicked the rock'n roll machinery into motion. The band's hybrid of melodic glam rock definately rocked. The vocalist Michael Ahlström impressed the most with his slightly desperate and honest expression. Definately a show well worth its 4 trams.

...In comparision Violent Divine felt like a vitamin pill. The band formed as late as last autumn and has already managed to close a deal with an american label. The debut album is set for release in March and lots of people were curious to see them perform live. This was their first gig on their home turf and the opening of the show is impressive. Great hit potential in those first two songs.

THe rest of the material isn't quite as strong but it's easy to see that the band quickly developed a unique sound. It's a fresh mix of genres like glam rock, grunge and hard rock and among the influences you can notice great bands like Motley Crue and Stone Temple Pilots. Violent Divine delivered a hungry and tight performance - I'm sure we'll be hearing more from these genltemen in the near future.
