DEBUT ALBUM REVIEW

POWERPLAY RECORDS

A few months back i reviewed the 4 track promo CD from these Swedish guys. Violent Divine. Recently they released their debut album with the title "Violent Divine" through Chavis Records. In this album the band included twelve tracks and almost forty five minutes of pure rock music in the vein of some really good rock bands from all over the world.

The fact that they come from Sweden gives them an advantage because they can have more exposure but in the same time they must carry all this weight. I think Violent Divine has done a really good job with their newest album and you can hear it from the first to the last song. As usual the album begins with a very strong, but in the same time really mainstream song, which will remain in your mind from the first time you hear it.

Almost all the compositions from Violent Divine are constructed well with some interesting ideas and if you want to get a picture of the music from these guys, imagine a fresh combination of Van Halen, Motley Crue and Poison with the personal touch of Violent Divine. I believe the fans of hard rock should buy one more album this month - the new one from Violent Divine.
